Cai + tune

Well I pulled the trigger Friday and bought the Roto CAI and Hptuners file from Intense. I went this route because I have the HPtuners package on my laptop and Intense uses it and they had a good tune for my GTP when I had it so it was easy choice. I am going to try to get dyno time from a nearby tuner shop and do a pull stock then add the intake and flash the vcm and get a before and after pull on my car so you can all see how well the Intense canned tune holds true. I have no doubts I will be happy with the results, on the dyno and on the street. will holla back with results.

OK got my HP file from Intense via email today to go with the CAI that UPS F-d up on delivering today.. Will have to sit around all day tommorrow waiting on this bone head.
ANYWAY I called and talked over the plans with the man who owns the dyno today. We are shooting for next Wed morning, July 1st first thing that morning to strap it down and get a baseline pull, then install the CAI, drop in the tune, and Get a few after pulls. I should have around 2000 miles on the car at that time. I have been running nothing but 93 in it since I bought it, letting it adjust to it now... I have been using my usual break in method for this motor. (no not WFO lol).

I will probably do a mock up install this weekend and drop in the tune just to make sure everything works smoothly before strapping the car on the dyno. I dont want any hang ups once this thing gets there and im paying for dyno time.
I know what your thinking.. why not just install the stuff and get a dyno. because I want a baseline. period.. plus I want to prove, or disprove the effectivness of a canned tune + CAI myself.. I wanna see the results.
