I asked about the hood, they can ship it but they said it wouldnt work with the g8 without the other parts, such as the bumper fenders and all that. I cant tell from looking whats different. I could have just misunderstood them.

The hood is a Holden hood which is 2" shorter. They do sell the scoop separate which should work on ours, but look really funny if you didn't get the scoops filled.

The good folks at Walkinshaw have provided me a price list. They have informed me that American buyers would not have to pay VAT. If anyone is interested, they seem open to talking about a North American distributorship (I'm not interested in pursuing).

All prices are in Australian dollars, I think if you take 15% to 20% off the price you have the US dollar pricing before shipping.l

But since "THE OFFICIAL WORD" about not bringing back the Commodore in any shape or form to the US/Canada...and we got so few GTO's/Monaro's ...

would anyone be interested in dishing out some major $$$$ to open a "dealership" under Walkinshaw Performance knowing that your market would be very much limited ???

We can always dream about one day, goind to see your local HSV Dealer... asking to get the Walkinshaw Package... and rolling out with a Clubsport R8 !
