another newb question

How come my car doesn't have a volt meter and oil gauge.....or at least idiot lights??

They clipped it from the 2009, most people thought it was pretty annoying :)

I guess the digital display would be annoying but analog gauges would be nice to go along with the analog temp and fuel.
