One thing concerns me, it appears that the only way to unlock and lock the doors is by way of the power door lock buttons. Is this correct? I know about the automatic locking/unlocking by way of the shift selector (Drive and Park) I really consider this to be a safety flaw only if when going into water that you remember to hit the power windows down and unlock the doors. I like a manual overide system as a back up, so if none exist its back to cattying the pointed hammer to bust out the glass. OR if the power fails do the door locks automatically unlock?

In an accident the belt pretensioners fire. The doors remain locked, and within miliseconds after the crash detection the doors unlock.

G8Ray, thanks for that info. Thought it strange that there was no manual overide. Like simply flipping the door handle knob to the open position.
