Has anyone used the aFe Stge 2 Pro DryS Air Intake ? It's much less expensive than R-F. I was wondering if it worked as well.

AFE claims 11RWHP we've seen the Rotofab make about twice that, the rotofab is well worth it.

Good to know...thanks. Man, I sure wish y'all were down south, I'd have my car to you for some tweaking.

New Era makes a good intake as well. Vector tuned my G8 on their dyno with it on. They have a canned tune for that intake as well as the Roto-Fab.
I wouldn't count that intake out either. Ask some of the guys on here with one.

It's A G8!

Would this be with a tune. Or are you saying that just installing a roto-fab would net you about 20hp? I think the afe intake claims 11hp without a tune. What would the roto-fab gain with out a tune?

I think it really comes down to personal preference. There are alot of guys out there with the RF. I personally have the NEP CAI and am very pleased with it. I will have a dyno tune done at the end of the month. One of the things I do is look at everyone's signature and compare their mods to mine. It just gives me some anticipation as to what my final numbers will be. I wouldn't take anything away from either product.

RF on its own has been consistently 19-20RWHP for us, 40RWHP total with our tune and of course 3+ MPG in fuel economy :)

I can't speak to the NE CAI, but I love the RF version. Pop the hood up and hit the throttle to hear your car roar. It sounds damn good. Oh yeah, and it makes your car faster.........

You can also buy the new Spectre CAI that I developed for them. You can call spectreperformance and talk to Dave Johnston. It comes in the polished version.

I just checked their web page...no pontiac listed. Mostly 4 bangers.
