Completed my first SCCA Novice course and Autocross last weekend. Had an absolute blast! The G8 got a lot of attention and ran respectively, definitely driver was the limiting factor. Looking for recommendations for suspension upgrades from Pedders, ebiach, BMR, etc.

A few pics in action:

Nice pictures. Who you got riding with you? I'd love to try out some autocrossing, but thats a hobby that I just can't afford right now. Looks like fun!

Pedders Track II with all the BMR goodies will drop those times no matter how limited you are as a driver.

Pics were taken at the SCCA novice school so the passenger was my instructor. As far as the cost...except for the rubber I left on the pavement, total cost was $25 for the weekend.

How chewed up did your tires get?

And how did you find out about the course? Can you post a link or give me any info on this?

Actually no tire/wheel/brake damage at all that I could see on my post filght inspection. As a frame of reference I am the Executive Officer up at the Air Station at Cherry Point. We contacted the SCCA and we will be scheduling an AutoX event about 4 times a year. MCAS New River in Jacksonville holds four additional events a year, the next being scheduled on 12 July. The link to the North Carolina region Sports Car Club of America is http://www.ncrscca.com/ If you need any additional info shoot me a PM and I can call and talk about the event.
