ok so i got my arh headers installed. first i noticed they had the xpipe on upside down... so i take it back and they flipeed it and everything went into place. now the drivers side exhaust tip sticks out about a half inch further then the right side. and when it sounds like a wind leak but everything is sealed up tight.
and now when i put the car into reverse it feels like the brakes are holding up but there not. :hmm: and advice?

What sounds like a wind leak? Who did your install? Sounds like they may have done a very poor job.

All of us had that happen, before the re-tune.

GRRRR8, G8 Ray, me, had the CEL light up. If you have a Dash Hawk, you will be able to see that it'll be for the O2 sensors.

You will need to re-tune for the most power anyway, the CEL will go away then.

The only thing that sucks is that as long as there is a CEL, you won't be able to use the remote start.

What the tuner will do is simply program the ECM to not "Read" the 02 sensors. What happens is simply that the new cats on the ARH's are simply higher flowing and thus do not come up to temperature as fast as the stock ones that are restrictive, thus heating up faster. The sensors read this as a fault. The reality of this is the less restriction the lower the temp.

No. I took off my intake cover and get more valve train noise though.

The DOD engines are noisy and you will here it echo in the headers. This is normal. If you think you have a leak, take a long piece of hose and hold it to your ear while running the other end around all flanges etc.

Can you hear it at idle?
Does it sound like a vaccum leak or an exhaust leak?
Do you have any way to scan the fuel trims?

Take a look at this elbow to see if it is cracked.

your going to have some added tap due to the stainless being thinner than the cast manifolds thats normal. some cars through rear cat codes due to them not heating quickly enough they will fix that with the tune
