Kooks Gen2 Axle Back

I have a set of Kooks Gen2 Axle Back Mufflers for sale. They have about 2-3 thousand miles on them and I just took them off today. Just seeing if there was any interest in them if not then they can just sit and I might put them on again someday. If so then I would probably let them go for $350+ Shipping so somewhere around $375. Hmm, now that sounds pretty good, how many miles do you have on them? And do you have any sound clips? Mine sounds exactly how they do in the kook's promotional video for the G8? I would guess the magnaflow's would be quieter which would appease the person who got me to take my Kook's off.

I know that is exactly what I want to do. It just when I go see her I don't want to ride in her car, it makes me want to put a bag over my head so people don't know who I am when I am riding around in it. I tell my friends that the axle backs were just too loud for my tastes so I guess I would rather be a pussy than act whipped! But for the people interested here are some pictures. Oh and 1bad03snake if you could get those pic's that would be great.

what are the other tips?

They are the same shape and size. The inner pipe is extended further into the tip and that is supposed to reduce drone. I don't have any pictures, but they pretty much look identical.

I suggest you meet her halfway. Leave them on, but just spend another $50 on soundproofing. I painted a very thin layer of the liquid stuff under the trunk and under the back seat, and my car is too quiet now.

I'd say it cuts down the volume 50% and the drone 75%. People told me my car was too quiet. Then I got the exhaust and they complained it was too loud and droney. Then I soundproofed, and they thought I took the exhaust back off.

How bad can her car be ?? When I'm not driving my G8 [no funny comments guys] I drive a 90 Camry that has rust holes with 190K miles on it. Who cares what people think while I'm driving it.

The only thing good on her car is the engine its the 3.8 L36 and its got 320,000 miles on it (I don't know how its still running the way she treats it) But her car is a 98' Old's Intrigue, now that may sound pretty new it really isn't. The paint on the hood is all but gone and cracked away leaving a nice rust spot where it used to be. The drivers side is scratched/dented/mangled because on her way home one night she decided to fall asleep and went in the ditch and hit a couple fences and reflector poles on the way. I know there are worse cars out there I just hate when I have to ride or drive her car. Oh and she won't get the air conditioner recharged she said she likes the fresh air and running the air conditioner would ruin her gas mileage.
