I'm not a fan of satellite radio and have no desire to use the service. Is there any way to remove XM from the radio source selection so when I hit the source button it scrolls through AM, FM and CD only? Not sure if I disconnect the wires from the XM box in the trunk if this will work but I may have to give it a try.

Thanks.

Diconnect the XM module in the trunk. It will remove the XM features from your radio.

Now remove the box and bracket so it doesn't rattle.

Will that xm box work on my 08 radio?

I'm not going to remove the box unless there are rattle issues but don't think this will happen as it has not occurred yet. I want to keep the XM components to return the car to stock in case I ever decide to sell.

Thanks for all the offers though.
