That sucks. I was tuning a C6RS and it had one of these in it. Awesome. At every stop light it would pull me in!

I was really torn up about this whole thing being canceled and I decided to e-mail Azentek sales (specifically asking about the implementation for the G8, despite its discontinuation). The following was the response.



Dear Mr. Anderson,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The Atlas project has not been cancelled. It has just been a long time getting it to market. We do think it will be available in Q2 or Q3 of 2011. When it is available, there will be nothing like it available anywhere. Please keep us in mind and we should have a better picture of available mid Q2.

Imagine having this awesome car PC plus the HVAC controls that tolrtd is developing (http://forum.grrrr8.net/showthread.php?t=19474)! Too bad it's going to take so long. Maybe they'll use Windows 7 instead of Vista.

LOL. This has been total vapor for so long. I'll believe it when I see it.

My main gripe with the car PC scene is the software is universally garbage. I have low expectations.
