Basically, that's what happens. You can go from the south to the north in about 45 minutes. And you can't get lost in the state. You either hit the ocean, CT, or MA.

As far as the weekend, I was originally going to take her to Long Island, but apparently, people actually attend major golf events, and all the hotels are booked solid. Lake George and Cape Cod are too far away for a trip this short. So, it'll probably be Newport. Let's just say she likes the shopping a bit.

We all miss Rocky Point - been gone for about 15 years now I think. The weiners are still around though. I'm hoping to move to NC come next Spring as I'm pretty much done with this state. The cons do outweight the pros for living here though. Then again, I think about this time of year and you can't beat it - if the sun ever comes back out1
