Hey guys, i'm helping my brother get an axle ready for an install, and i was wondering how do we get the rotors and calipers off this thing. It looks like we will have to take the locking mechanisim out and then everything will slide right out after that. Can you guys confirm this.

It's out of a 78 Ford High Boy.

Depending on the brake design, you might need to disassemble the hubs to remove the rotors.

On my 78 bronco when I had to do axle work I could never remember how to put the hubs back together. I always had to have someone help. But yeah, take apart the hubs first.
