View Full Version : serious problem!!!! help!!!!
You can probably get that fixed. I think there's a chance he'll notice his car's missing a wheel for a week or two though.
BJ never hurts though.

I had a similar situation happen to me just with a curb. I took it to a place were they "fix it" they weld the missing metal back in the area's were you lost some chunks, bake it heat it up and all that stuff and WALA! Doesn't look like anything ever happened and i am very picky and examined everything. Only complaint i have is they didn't put enough finish on it. Not as smooth and slippery as the other rims but better than it was. Cost under $200 bucks were as a new rim is I believe $600.
OH and this was done in one day mind you.
Don't be stressin' it's an accident. Can be fixed and it's not that serious of an accident either. I know what your feeling. It's like this "people tell you not to do things for one reason or another (Weldon telling you to stay away from car washes) but people do these things all the time with no problem so you make the leap and do it hoping all will end well. But OF COURSE the one time you do something that nobody usually has a problem with, the unfortunate event happens to you. What are the odd's right? Stuff like that happens to me all the time.

ughhh...he called me right as i was going into it..and told me to update his profile on here...talk to grrr8 about some kinda mod then had to go real quick....idk if i tell him he might not talk to me!
Do like my mom did...
Dad tells her to take HER (dad bought it) brand new X5 to the car wash as they were heading out of town and didn't want to leave the car dirty in the garage. So mom takes it to the drive in one where they vacuum it and THEY drive it to the washer line. She no sooner pulls up and the guy tells her to drive it into the bay through the garage door. They have bullords up at each corner of the garage door to keep you from hitting the buliding. She SOME HOW plows the front end right into one of them... ???? OK keep in mind this vehicle has the sensors up front that tell you when you're close to something. THEY WENT OFF! So it damages the 2 week old vehicle she has it washed and then calls dad and tells him what happened. She tells him it was his fault... She says it wouldn't have happened if he would have cleaned it by hand...
Oh shit it makes me laugh everytime...:jerry:
2500 dollars damaged and it looked like someone hit the front with a roofing hammer in one spot in the bumber...
Front left bumber and front left fender are one piece! :disgust:
Call him and tell him it was his fault! See what he says...

On the way back from FL, Wendy parked near a curb at a Motel... I got in to drive to dinner.... backing up...cranked wheel left and RIGHT into the curb...
BETTER ME THAN HER.... or so she said!
Sanded it down with 600 sandpaper and steel wool and clearcoated it. Only shows when you are within 3 feet. Have been too lazy to fix it right. If I had polished it out with jewelers paste etc. might not be able to tell.
No door dings or scratches on painted areas except massive amounts of chips on front.... Poor....soft.... paint on bumper.
Weldon will live with it.....(grumble....grumble....)

Tell him right away. He will get mad, but it will be worse if you wait or try to hide it, and he will have a hard time trusting you after that. Don't worry though, things happen.

Good job, Weldon.
Looks like it's time for some new wheels! I'm looking into a set of used BMW wheels. I'm getting them for track days, but there are a lot of nice ones for the street.
I kinda like these: 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear
