I have used both of the New Era CAI's and have liked them both. Though I will admit the New Era OTR does require a little more further mods to come to its full potential. You will find tons of posts on the CAI's but New Era and Vararam will give you the best bang for your buck.

I like the Vararam. It is proven that a little work and the NEP OTR works well as well.

I have the Volant CAI and I really like it. It looks/sounds good, keeps the IA temp low, performs well, and has a maintenance free dry filter.

Any dyno sheets on this intake with no other mods? My service guy at my dealership is intending on running the jetttstream on his G8. Im just looking at all options

It seems like everyone loves their CAI and they offer very similar sound effects and performance. I chose the Roto-Fab because it appeared to allow more flexibility for engine rocking. My superstition was based on an old 1991 Bonneville that rocked the engine a couple of inches as the engine mounts wore out.

I had the NEP side mount cheap and effective easy to install. That with Vectors tune and HSRK helped me get down the track in the low low 13's(12.99 once) . I was getting impatient waiting for the Vararam so the NEP was a great bang for the buck option. I recently purchased a Vararam from Maryland Speed(best price I found). The install was a little involved but Ray posted some very helpful install pics and notes....Thanks Ray
