Vararam or Superchips Cortex?

Which one should I do first?

I would do the superchips because the tranny tune makes a huge difference you can't miss.

Now your problem is, once you do install a VaraRam, your going to have to get a tune to maximize it's performance, which the Superchips unit is incapable of doing. I would've gotten the VaraRam first, then a custom tune afterwards, as from what I've seen the custom tunes, and Cortex are about the same cost. VMS offers a VaraRam specific tune, along with their kick ass TCM tune that is a really good deal.

The Cortex will be coming out with a Vararam tune......hopefully shortly. They have 3 different CAI tunes done but not yet released, but the Vararam is not one of them.

I'm in the same boat and don't know what to do first. Leaning towards the Superchips as I can set it back to stock at any time. And still not sure which CAI I will get - between Vararam and NEP at this point. Don't want to steal the thread but any pointers would be great.

:no1: Well, you aren't completely wrong.

Superchips will be providing a tune for the Vararam unit shortly, along with tweaked tunes for all the other CAI kits available.
