98 Sierra Keyless Entry

I have a 98 Sierra with power locks, but it never had the factory keyless entry. Is there a way to get keyless entry working on this truck with the gm remote?

I "think" it has to have the remote module added. Just to be clear, you dont have a remote now, just power locks correct.

The RPO for keyless entry is AU0. <---zero
Have a dealer run your vin for your RPO codes.
If your truck has AU0, the module is present.

Correct, and I do not have the AU0 rpo code. So is this just a plug and play module or is there a lot more to it? Thanks for the help.

Call the parts dept or even Greg @ Pace and I am sure they can tell you.
