Went to the track the other night, ended up with a best of 13.23 @ 107, with Rotofab intake and Magnaflow catback

Here's me hot lapping running down a Neon that red lit. He ran 13.8 to my 13.5 on this run

That is not slow, do you even have a tune? The magnaflow gave you like 14 HP and the rotofab like 7, so for 21hp over stock thats good.

a catback only adds 4hp?

No tune yet, waiting for some Kooks 1 7/8ths long tubes before a tune. The title is sarcastic lol

With what you have and a ecm/tcm tune I ran 12.70s on the summer 19s.

my car felt noticeably 'different' after my homemade catback.
I screwed up my first run to the track. I am slightly wee-todd-did

A tune does make a big difference. Especially the tranny.

yes. sofa king.

not to thread jack, but I drove (VERY FAST) 85 miles to get to the track before tech closed, had 30 minutes, made 5 passes. Had over 40lbs in the rear tires and 3/4 tank of gas. I didnt get out of the car from the time I was tech'd til they closed the track.
14.04 was my best. I was very sad panda

Cool down + 1/4 tank + 33psi = mid 13s. Its not How many passes, its 1-3 really good passes.

I want to get 3.45 gears and a small stall, anyone recommend the 1 7/8th long tubes or the 1 3/4th?

But that was down hill with the wind at your back after eating three burritos

My problem was one pass I forgot sport mode and had the A/C on (I was excited) another 2 passes I tried manual mode and hit the rev limiter
another pass I used sport mode and T/c off and it would not hook for like 1/8th track.

One pass was worth while. But like I said I only had 30 minutes.
and I did not know the tap down to hold third deal till after the track closed.

13.5s would be awesome with just a catback. My car dynoed (as it is now) at 326 on Haddads dyno.

How can one have a(or in this case 3) Philly cheese steak(s) when they are no where near Philly?

I took my car to pick them up. :) No, just a cheap imposter. Good, but not a Phiily as we know them.

A Philly cheese steak in Texas is like a Chicago pizza in Hawaii
