UDP install questions

Does it matter that the original pulley was not keyed and the UDP is keyed? Also, there is a small thin rubber ring on the back of the original pulley. It looks like this is no longer needed, is this correct?

I did not turn my engine to TDC before starting this process, it would have been nice to align the UDP markings, but looks to late.

It does not matter and do not install the rubber flat seal that is on old balancer. The timing marks dont matter until you pin the balancer and even then its no biggie.

Did you replace your main seal when you replaced yours? It doesn't really seem necessary since I only have a few k on the motor.

No. Stock front seal. Just put a little oil on the balancer where the seal rides and thats it.
