These mirrors are hard to come by. Mine is from a '07 TB. It has the compass, auto dim, airbag light, and Onstar. It only took me about 6 months of looking on Ebay to finally get one for a price I was willing to pay.

The mirror from a 07 Tb is a direct fit (I know cause that was my first mod to my G8).

Yes it is a direct fit plug and play. I got mine for around $40 on Ebay.

Not one with auto dim. I have been spoiled with my past cars and really wanted to have auto dim again.

i just got one, but i thought with the auto dim, the air bag indicator would be dimmer...it is bright ???

Don't think any of the G8s came with an auto dim. BTW how much does the Dealers want for one?

Sellers is advertising them on board for about 2oo.

I found one out of a 2007 Saab 9-7x Aero on eBay for $65 last week. It gets here on Friday, just plug and play. The 2007 Trailblazer, Envoy, or 9-7x (either trim) is a direct replacement.

I'm pretty surprised that the voltage is wired up in the G8 harness but they don't offer this an option or even as a dealer installed option.
