Thanks all I would have gotten darker but wanted to keep it legal. I was going to get the same all around but my tint guy said that the difference in back wouldn't be that noticeable but would help with heat.

Very nice. Have to get mine done soon too - this black interior will get hot this humid Summer here in NJ. At least we have the same color car so I can see what the tint will look like.

It looks great. I did the same on the sides. The 35% film plus factory glass metered at 27%. Legal limit is 25%. I think thats about as close as you can get. I did 15% on that heat sink back glass. How does yours look around the matrix dots on the back?

It is good on all except a few small spots and one larger one near the top of the drivers side where it doesn't seem stuck down as well. But I know that if I ever have problems with it there he will fix it as my family has been going to him for twenty years so I am happy with it.

What, if anything, did they do about the dot matrix?

Nothing special as far as I know. He did take a lot longer working on it than he expected though an extra hour over what he told me, part of that could be waiting on a dealership to send him instructions on removing the third break light to tint under it.
