I'm just curious. This is the first RD car i've owned in a long time. I know my friends RX8 which was rated at 238 hp, dyno'ed at 171whp at one place and 176whp at another. I was surprised that that much power was lost going to the wheels.

For the G8 GT what is drivetrain loss %?

This was actually quite an uproar in the RX8 community. It was highly believed and obviously proven that Mazda was telling a little tale when it came to the HP rating of the RX8.

15% = 306.85
18% = 296.02

Based on the factory rating of 361 hp.

Stock (assuming I was truly 361 hp) I saw about 18.5% loss. So with little bolt on mods im close to 415 at the crank !

mine dynoed at 291 stock on a mustang. That either means my car wasn't really 361 crank, the % loss was greater on my car, or the dyno wasn't being very generous :p
