mileage for brakes/rotors

assuming the average driver on this board gets on it and is a little on the heavy side on the brakes....

how many miles is an avg for the brakes AND the rotors?



if anyone else has changed them due to wearing out(not just an upgrade) lets make this the place to post so others know what to expect and compare to aftermarkets etc.

I would say an aggressive driver should get 18-24k out of the pads. If they are road racing and a lot of city driving 8-15k.

I pulled mine at 15, lots of pad left. LOTS

I had mine pulled at 12k to upgrade the pads. The shop estimated only 30% used.
