Backed out of a driveway yesterday, and this is the result. Split the f*cking bumper cover! :surprise:

Anyone have a spare IOM bumper cover they wanna sell?

It's not a spare but I'll sell you mine.
Of course it looks almost like yours.
Has the scuff marks and a small tear but did not split.
Only I don't know how it happened to mine.

Been there - done that - GTO - almost pulled front bumper cover off... Caught on curb when car settled into dips in tarmac. And... had similar but less damage to Volvo Conv & Porche 944. NOW PARK IN MIDDLE OF STREET!

my wife has damned near tore hers off. I've had to touch it up quite a few times. now she wants to know if she can drive mine cause it look's better. fat chance baby. It almost seems unavoidable though, imagine it with the pedders kit, it would be sweet, but that much worse. :bump:

Got an estimate on the repair, $600. They said they could fix it rather than replace it.
Oh, and btw, while it was in the body shop, I got an estimate to fix the hail damage. IOM sure doesn't show the dings, cause I only saw about 9 spots, but the body shop identified 51!!!!!! Repair coast for paintless dent removal, $1100.

Nope Cobalt SS/SC has got it beat hands down...

One of the reasons I was glad to get out of that car...$3400 in damage from hitting 2 raccoons in 2 months...:surprise:

I hit a piece of a tire getting on the freeway and thought that I almost tore the front end off the G8, got out and not even a black mark from it...

I'll take my G8 any day over the Cobalt's low front end and lower spoiler radiator/intercooler/condenser sandwich...
