Well, I keep it short and sweet. GTR spotted me and wanted a GXP under his belt, but that wasnt going to happen today. 65 roll when he decides to hit it I react then I hit it myself. Through almost two, gears I got avg. 10 cars then let off and the guy had an amazed look, and gave me the thumbs up.

You must be near 130 or so.I think combination of things happened correctly for outcome to be avg. 10. The 8 rib with the overdrive crank pulley really made an obvious difference, 2.3 blower, full race exhaust, bigger engine. Weight could be the counter but not enough on this one. With this package I've taken out a new M5 easily. I dont think Im a 130 trap car, but definately low 120's. Maybe the GTR didnt like the southern cal weather or driver error, and or maybe its the 150rwhp more than the GTR.

Well if you are in the low 120's now, there is no doubt you'll easily hit the mid to high 120's in the very near future. Either way, keep them on their toes :)

Theres just something about being ahead of a car that costs almost twice as much as mine. This setup I have is along the lines of the Holden HSV GTS supercharged model, so all I did was try to mimic that to compete with the supercars.

Think they may use a ringer for their 120+ trap speeds on road tests for magazines? I've also seen a road test at 114-116 mph. The GTR engine is reported to be putting out 480 crank hp. No 3800 lbs car is going to trap 120's with that kind of hp, all wheel drive or not, imo.

The GTR is a special car, a technological monster. But this won't be the last time someone calls foul. Porsche proved the stock GTR couldn't come close to the time Nissan boasted about its fast lap of Nurburgring.

There was a GTR at the Pedders track day in NJ and the Pedders G8 and my G8 had faster lap times and fast front straight speeds...........they need to be modded to live up to the hype. They are heavy and overly complex but have
some potential, they don't look that great either.

My cars an auto and suprisingly the INVO's get decent traction. I almost always drive around with a 3/4 to full tank. 55 mph I break them loose but not really bad. I think its due to the full tank. I'd buy the tires again if I had too.

I seen the same guy again today that I've seen several times now in town. Oddly I always seem to catch him at the same intersection making the same left turn (he's always waiting in the turn lane). He was eyeing up the G8 as I went past the other direction. I'd run him if the opportunity was there, knowing full well that he'd walk all over me. Thanks Punisher. As far as dyno numbers, dont know yet. Will show some video soon of some the mods up to date. I am currently at 10lbs of boost. Tomorow I will be upgrading my exhaust after the cats that turns to 2.5" piping and stock mufflers, to custom stainless steel 3" piping and 3" in and 3" out magnaflows.
