View Full Version : Did my V8 badges today

The chicklets came off with fishing line real easy after spraying with 50-50,then just pealed the rest off in one piece.I didn't put them in the correct spot because it's my car and I wanted them up a little. I went 7" up from top of rocker sill and at that point it's 11" across (wheel well edge to fender edge) so I put center of badge at 5.5" I was going to put the V flag on the trunk, but my son said people here won't know what it means and will think I'm a Cadillac V series "poser". :wacko: but I want to put it on. lol

I put mine in almost the same place. I thought they looked better there than the standard location.

Splash guards go on next weekend,as soon as my keyless right angle drill chuck extension from Harbor Freight gets here. only $14.99 :)

Don't be afraid of the "poser" possibility. Anyone sharp enough to understand what the "v" is for on the CTS-V will know that it is not the same "V".
