guys, I took my resistor thing out completely because I am
getting bugged by the AAT always 25-30 degrees lower than it really is.

Today it was 81* out, IAT was 90* which was about right, and AAT was 60* ?????

also had a Evaporative system leak (major gross) or something like that.

any thoughts?

thanks,.

actually I've noticed my aat go lower the longer I drive. Is that what you are talking about?

no. The AAT is ambient air temp.
So it should be within a couple degrees of the outside temp.

Mine has been 20-25 lower.

I just want to find the thing, and maybe replace it?

It is behind the right front bumper fascia lower grille. Instructions say remove the right front bumper grille and the right front bumper fascia lower grille.

Accessing the ambient temperature sensor (1) through the right front bumper fascia lower grille cavity, remove the ambient temperature sensor (1) by squeezing the locking tabs (2) and push free from the bracket.
