Is it me or does the clear plastic covering the speedometer, tach and other guages look distorted?

I know it's not completely flat and if you look at an angle it isn't absolutely perfect, but the view isn't distorted on mine.

This ^^^. The plastic is likely curved to PREVENT a distortion when viewed by the driver. Who cares what it looks like to others?! :)

Its better if the passenger can't see anything, that way the wife can not nag you about your speed.

I know that it catches the reflection from outside and is a pain to see when its really bright out.

For me, I do get a little bit of a glare from the "metal" trim that runs underneath the dash. Usually this isn't a big issue though as if it's bright out I'm wearing my sunglasses anyway.

Mine has actual wavy type distortion in the plastic. Will check out another on the lot to see if its the same.
