Maybe this has been done before, but has anyone thought of attaching some plastice to make a sort of lip behind the top grills along the top "row" of honeycombs to direct air upward toward the otr intake.

anyone want to chime in about deflecting air upward to the OTR intakes?

The upper grilles are a lower pressure zone. Not much of a gain if any by sourcing air from the top grilles. The lower grilles is where the air is coming from.

does the vararam extend all the way to bottom grills?

No, but it tilts the radiator/condenser so the air comes up the face of them into the scoop.

no, i think they found that it blocked to much air to the radiator if it extended all the way down
