Silly question, but can the tire pressure sensor be moved from one stock wheel to another wheel that doesn't have one? (in my case, I'm getting a new stock rim that doesn't have one installed..) Or do I need to purchase new ones? I know they're pretty cheap through a vendor on the boards here, but wanted to know if I can save a few bucks.

I read through a bunch of threads but couldn't find a direct answer.

Yes...but you will probably have to reset them all. Refer to ur owners manual for those steps.

Yes, you can move it to the new wheel. If you put the new wheel on in the same location, you won't have to do anything.

*whew* I figured it was that easy, but I wanted to make sure. I'm getting my tires rotated w/ a slew of other maintenance items/service bulletins next week, so I may or may not have to reset them.

Ray is right....same location = no reset. (Duh! on my part, lol) Rotation though = reset.

I wish there was a way to turn this crap off. I use my DRs about half the time so I have a constant "tire fault" light.
