Yeah, no worries. That was back in January. The 2009 PSM is all re-moded and I like it better than the '08. Well, of course I do.:p

I've seen that video before (over a year ago) it said then it was a Russian car.
I've also seen that exact video under the title "Chinese crash test" So I think it's bogus.

Crashlab is part of the Australasian New Car Assessment Program. Also, the video is from 1992, during the commissioning phase of the center. The model of the car is a 1978 Commodore VB, and was crashed as a demonstration of the new facility, and to test the drive system of the car crasher. The car was crashed at 100 km/h into a solid concrete reaction block, the tail shaft was removed, 300kg of sand ballast was placed in the footwells and boot and a 75kg ballast dummy was put into the rear seat.
And Penguin. Do you really have 6 exhaust pipes now?

The very first Commodores in late 70's and early 80's were diabolical pieces of shit.
There was a horrendous 4 cylinder "Starfire" petrol engine available which was way underpowered in such a large car.
[Cleverly called the Startafire by jokers].
Then there was a story going around (I have no idea how true) that some Commodores were at a wharf and they tried to load them onto a boat for export (maybe to New Zealand). The guys at the wharf used a crane and the same lifting apparatus they'd used a thousand times before for lifting cars onto a boat. When they lifted the early Commodore it simply folded in half like a book.
Damn spammers gtfo
