I cannot stand the red tinted speed display on my 09 GT. Is there a filter I can remove or change out? When I wear sun glasses the red display disappears.

Only problem is if you are wearing polarized glasses you will not be able to see the display no matter what color it is.

A friend here complained about the same issue with his SS-V. His issue doesn't involve sunglasses though as there's something amiss with his vision.
He has to wear reading glasses when driving to see the red lit cluster with his red cluster backing panel.

The answers I got were that the cluster has to be opened up and a series of small LED globes need to be replaced. To change out all the interior LED's is a big job, with something like 17 alone in the radio.

We change the LED's and recalibrate the dimming curve and supply to match the new Vf of the new LED's and reassemble/recalibrate the needles ect.

Nah... I think it's a deal! I can see my display with them AND they cut the glare!

They're prescription as well as being made in Switzerland.

I have the same problem. I thought it was just my eyes, but then I realized that I can read the DIC in my GMC Sierra just fine with my glasses on. Must be the red color (?) screwing with me.

We change the LED's and recalibrate the dimming curve and supply to match the new Vf of the new LED's and reassemble/recalibrate the needles ect.

So, according to your website, it would cost $139.99 to change the color in the DIC backlight to white($84.99 + $55.00), plus the cost of shipping the cluster to you. Is that correct? Are there return shipping charges?

NO! I bought the frames and had polarized lens' put in them in the copper/brown tint.

Works the bees knees...

If I turn my iPhone horizontally I can't read what it says. I KNOW they're polarized.

I can see my DIC just fine as well with my "sunglasses" on as well. I say "sunglasses" because they're the magnetic "clip on" lenses that go over my prescription lenses.

And yes, they're ploarized. And no, they're not cheap either $600 just as 4GASEM's are. They're Nike branded glasses, which aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination. (You can't cheap out on glasses, if you wear them, you know what I'm talking about)

The red is pretty nice touch. Would you of radther have the speedo like the GTO? A full red display?

You do know that males are more prone to red/green color blindness, could be you are less sensitive to red than you think.
