I know alot of ppl have complained about this issue. Any fix to it? I read something on the other board but nothing really helpful.

I also have poor FM reception. Not sure what I can do about it. I can't take my car to the drive in movie theater anymore because of it. Just too much static.

I don't have any issue with the FM reception in my G8.

Mine's pretty bad, too. For some reason, it's usually bad in my GM vehicles, no matter what radio I have in there. I've had 2 Dodge vehicles which were both better than any of my 4 GM vehicles in FM reception. (They were worse in every other way though!)

Yeah i really dont listen the radio that much but I still was wondering. I saw a thread on another board and was curious.

Mine is horrible too. I drive my wife's Trailblazer and there is a day and night difference in the FM Reception. I am glad my car has a 6 disc changer.

my reception is horrible too... whenever I turn it to FM all I get is commercials! AM not so great either the 2 minutes I tried it.

My FM reception has been horrible since day 1. I hate it. Definitely a big difference between my car and my wife's car (TB). Stations in Cincinnati (about 45 miles away) that she gets clearly, I don't get at all.

I just had mine into the dealer, they checked all of the connections and they were solid. I just thing the reception on these sux....

Must be the area's you guys live in, I sell G8's and have no complants in the Cincinnati area..

LOL! That is what I was thinking. I rarely use the radio. I listen to XM/CD/iPod. Radio around here sucks. But, to answer your original question, no, I don't have any issues with reception.

Doesn't the radio have a Local/Distance button???? I think Manual mentioned something about it. I like Manual he is a nice guy with plenty of info.

My FM reception was great until my trial on the XM expired. Now for some reason my FM reception is lousy.

Well an update. The manual is correct but the radio ain't. The 09s obviously does NOT have this feature. I tried and it ain't there. :nud:
