Rear bumper removal..for paint help

I scraped off a good chunk of paint off my rear bumper (white car with black bumper eww) with my girfriends c230 which didn't take as much noticeable damage to the paint.

Anybody have instructions on how to take it off so I can save some money getting it repainted?

It's actually a "diggers slouch hat" the kid is wearing.
My father and grandfather both wore one so that I will never have to.
