08 Ignition Orange G8

Okay, Breytons on 245/35 R20 front and 285/35R20 out back. Chrome window trim replaced with black, Debadged, tinted, and now just waiting to order the body color door handles.

That car looks fantastic. The dark rims really work weel with that orange colour.

I really like the single V8 badge on the trunk lid, too.

SICK MAN, that looks really nice. The dark rims really bring out the metallic in the IO IMO. My dads IOM looks kinda flat, his is all stock. But those rims and the trim and shit, man dude, very nice.

I can attest the dark rims rock. I picked up some satin winter rims....wish I had bought the 18" all season stockers and went with a nice 20" summer setup instead of 19" stock and 17" winter...ah well. I still like the stock 19's so I guess I can enjoy looking at it during summer and winter. I couldn't stand the 18 stock wheels, especially after seeing the 19s.

I'm still torn, I was looking at the same rims but i just can't pull the trigger. I've never had darker rims on a car so it's gonna take a while for me to get used to the idea i think.

Looks great, but along with the door handles you now need to do something with the chrome trim on the front grill. Paint to make IOM or black

I feel like the Breytons and stuff really look just so good on the G8s. Especially like on a MGM, all same color dark murdered look, black on black, etc. They look great on the PSM and IOM too, for sure. Im sure theyd look good on the Sport Red too. They just really fit the car so nicely. I also like their silver colored ones on the White Hots. Only color I dont see them looking amazing on for some reason is a Liquid Red and a Stryker Blue, idk why though, maybe bc i havent seen a pic ever/in a while.

Running Yokohama S Drive's, Tire rack doesnt show them as having a 285/35R20 as an available size but Yoko does make them.

I have been giving some thought to the front grill surrounds myself, cant stand "plastic chrome". I just am not sure what to do at this point...not sure painting them black would be any better...maybe IOM?

Let me know what you think of the S Drive's. I am considering them once my Potenza's needs replacing....did you originally have the stock summers or all season? Just curious the difference if you were previously running with the Summer Potenza's. I used to run Yokohama ES100's on my Z24 which ran great.

I'll probably stick with the 275's from the rack so my speedo isn't off.

I was running BFGoodrich GforceTA's KDW, they only have about 5k miles on them and will be up for sale real soon, they are 19's so they wont fit my 20's.

Whats your opinion of the Yoko's? (ride comfort/noise, performance, tread wear though probably too soon to really know) I know my other Yoko's were great performers, but freaking LOUD after you put some miles on them.

The KDW's are 245/40ZR19 in the front and 275/35ZR19 in the back.


So far the Yoko's handle great, ride smooth, and have no more noise than the KDW's did. I love the setup so far, way to early to tell on treadwear.

Nah if I drop it in back it might rub and I dont want the front any lower at all, car already plows a little snow in the winter so I dont want that any worse.

The color is "Matte Grey", 10's will fit with a 285 as long as you dont drop it.
