Strut Tower Bushings/Bearings

Charlie, are the front strut bushings and bearings two seperate parts? OR are they one part number. Dealer ordered bearings, when I asked about the bushings he said it was one unit, bearings and bushings. Thanks for the help. Chris

They are two separate parts but GM may sell them as a kit. Buy the bushing and it comes with the bearings. ??

The bearings just press into the bottom of the bushing with your fingers.

I would get them from Pedders. Its still the same bad design, but they are better.

Thanks for the update. Was confused by the parts guys at the dealership. Interesting note, was informed that GM spent mucho money developing the Zeta platform. If so, how the heck did they come up with a bad design on the struts? I still think the G8 is a really good car, but I sometimes wonder what the hell were they thinking. Its not just GM but all of the "Big Three". I hate to say it BWTF?
