Took the car to SlOWHAWK Performance, i got lazy and used stock spark plugs, so it was pulling timing/misfiring, so i have to replace them and go see him again but here are the numbers. Don thinks it should be close to 480hp and above 500tq:woohoo:

I wouldn't mess around with a cam, just up the boost. That's the beauty of a good turbo setup. Plenty of hp available with a simple adjustment. Get a good electronic controller, too. You can keep it fairly low for day-to-day driving (less wear and tear) but be able to quickly change controls as needed. I'm going to go that route w/ my GTO, I believe.
And trust me, if the boost gets out of control, you WON'T have time to look at a gauge. You will be holding on for dear life. A quick burst with the wastegate closed...yeah, that would be fun.

the only reason i am going to mess with the cam is to scrap the DOD hardware and get some quality hardware in there

Brings up a good point... you said stock plugs. If going this route I would think you'd want a colder plug vs. stock. Were you given any recommendations on that?

Nice numbers. Throw some TR6 plugs in there and get it back and see what it does.

yes, i remember reading in the directions stock boost, stock plugs would be okay. INTENSE Racing recommended plugs which i bought, but ran out of time so never installed. Don at Slowhawk gave me some TR6 plugs

thats what i was given, and next week i will be back on the dyno. I think changing plugs will be a 2hr job its fucking tight in there:hang:

I'm 25 with no boost. :om:
Unfortunately, I have a wife. She's less than understanding. I'll have to probably buy a "really cool" China cabinet or something equally lame, instead.

I feel your pain. :( I just spent 3k on a couch and was thinking the whole time that could have been a cam + install. Wife=gg mods
