What if the hole were drilled just big enough for a tight fit (firmly forced in) with the sensor alone? depending on plastic you might be a small amount of glue of the proper type. Crazy glue comes to mind.

Maybe?

Somebody on one of the boards found a 9/16 grommet at a Lowes home store. Might be worth a look.

Got the CAI and HSRK today. Have to wait for the flash express.

The GM grommet is the one to use. It is very stout. You just have to shave some off the side on the outboard side of the CAI so the sensor will seat further into the tube. The groove for the flange is just thick enough for the Roto plastic filter flange. I tried one of the store bought grommets and unless the "groove" is wide enough to cover the thickness of the Roto's flange it may not stay without help (silicone, epoxy, etc).

Agreed, the GM grommet is by far the best. I didn't shave anything though and I got full penetration of the sensor head. It was a bitch to get it in though.

I have the CAi and HSRK installed, should get the cable for tune on Monday 9/22. Can't wait to tune it up!!!!!! If I run into any snags you guys be ready to help! LOL
