G8 VS Modded Ram 2500

Was leaving work tonight stopped at a light leaving base and a dodge 2500 diesel pulls up next to me loud as hell had to be 4.5 or 5" exhaust on that beast. Anyways light turns green we turn left off of base onto the main road there he was in the left me in the right. He starts getting on it around the corner im not on it yet doing about 15-20 then soon as he gets straight he nails it i hear his turbo spool and chirp all 4. coming out of the left hand turn hes at my front bumper with his rear. Soon as im straight i floor it car downshifts to first huge bark of the tires and im off by about 55 im side by side to him by 80 i was about a car length in front of him and shut down at about 90. That truck was puttin down some serious power but not enough. so i slow down we turn off the main road he drives by me thumbs up i give him a thumbs up and a rev. He was definetly running a tuner ill have to try and find him on base next week to see what hes running for everything but definetly a lot of power to chirp all 4 35" tires at about 20-25mph in a diesel.

DAMN. I really, really, really love diesel trucks man. I wanted a Chevy 2500 for the longest time but they are a lot of $$. Sick story though. By all 4 you mean he had it in 4WD? Or was it a dually?

There's a diesel dually running around Toledo that's in the 11's. He literally terrorizes the little street racers with it. Lol!

My Duramax runs 13.6 w/ high 1.7 60's trust me I have beat more than a few low 12 sec cars light to light. From a roll is a different story.

The G8, it was before the tranny update and it was from roll 5-10mph. I work with him so told him i wasn't going to waste the gas because i knew i would win

Why would he do that? Unless something has changed the front diffs are usually geared down a little and not designed to run at 80-90nmph. I could see it on a short run to keep the rear end from just breaking loose but from a roll...doesn't make sense to me...glad you got the kill though

well he chirped all 4 rolling at about 20mph so im sure if he was in 2wd he woulda been smokin the rears. and he didnt pull to 90 he stopped when i was at 80 and passed him i kept pullin to 90 before i shut down.

They had one on Pinks, I think it ran 10.5. Pretty damn fast.

yea i saw that pinks. that truck was ridiculous. Giant plume of smoke outta the stacks and that thing took off like a rocket
