So How do you get to your dead battery in the TRUNK if you can not open your TRUNK........???
Or I'm I missing something

Pull down the rear seat and pull the emergency trunk latch.

Pull down the rear seat and pull the emergency trunk latch.

Open hatch in rear seat. The "emergency" trunk release is against the seatback on the passenger side. You'll see a little plastic pull loop.

Get a pry bar and rip your trunk open

Too expensive for a small job like this, use about 6 inches of det cord!

We had to freakin jimmy the door open in the old bonneville when the battery died since we couldnt get into the car to pop the hood. It was a PITA

Picture this - as it did happen.......my big ass 6'2" 325 lb trying to fit through the pass through in the rear seat trying to reach the battery to reconnect the neg terminal.........after i had shut the trunk seconds after I had unconnected the neg battery terminal while working on the car last month.......
Guess i need to find that pull release..... I had bruises on my ribs,,,,as I was trying to squeeze through far enough to reach the battery....

You probably hurt your ribs on the pull loop.

You could just have it towed to the dealer and have them give you one of those $40K batteries that comes with a free GXP!

beat me to it devilish... of couse you could call onstar from your home phone so that they could send out a tech to do all this det cord/c4/sledgehammer/can opener/iceburg stuff you people want done....

1st get the saw
2nd pick out the right blade to use
3rd grab the exstenison cord
4th un roll said cord
5th plug everything in
6th un snag the cord when the tires eat it
7th start cutting

1st get pry bar
2nd slam bar into truck
3rd um pry

there once was a 911 call and the lady said the cars battery was dead and she was locked in.............also one where an escalator stopped and she couldn't get off....duh!
