Aluminum block 5.0L with a blower for 2011?

A bit off forum topic since I'm posting about a Ford, but have you heard the rumors about the 2011 GT500?

I was looking at the new Camaros, but really don't like the interior. It needs to be more updated, and with the way they are pricing them, I decided to price out the GT500. Very close in price (loaded Camaro 45k, GT500 50k), with the Ford having a ton more HP stock.

Then I heard the rumor: 2011 "GT500" will have a Blown Aluminum 5.0 block! :wacko: maybe call it the GT600??? and maybe have an IRS?

Have you heard this Charlie? Has anyone heard anything about it? This looks like it could be a Dream Maker :)

I love my G8GT, but when my lease is up in 1.5 years, some very tough decisions will have to be made. Do I bight the money bullitt and pay a little more than full MSRP for my current car, or do I upgrade. I plan to purchase my next car, and it will be my daily driver seeing many miles.

My original plan was to purchase the 2011 GXP just cause it had the LS3:(

Lots of rumors. I guess the economy will depict what we actually see. Dont panic I do Mustangs too! :) I will be posting some pics of a 08 GT/CS that I just got done doing H&R springs and Konis as well as painting the calipers. The blower is coming soon.

Rumors are we may see our beloved American Commodore in the States for a couple more years.....I would pick a new GXP over a used 09 CTS-V any day.
