This shit makes me hate the south Tom. Last year was my 1st year back in Texas and we had no issues. Now.......well for both our sakes I hope we weather these storms!

Wreck & all -
Temporary accomodations available in IA... (Sunny and cool -in 40's this AM)
Have mothballed my "I like Ike" buttons....
Seriously..... this storm could be a really big deal. Just got off the weather blogs and it's unpredictable at least until Sat. nite, depending on speed, steering currents etc. Seems to be tracking south of models currently.
Every year, these Loooonnnggg waits and the speculation of damage just about kill me. Outta our control....
Pray
Stay safe,
Rob

Good Luck. :( Up in the entire opposite end of the country we're looking at starting our rainy season. Sigh. What a crappy summer this turned out to be.

Yikes! I don’t like Ikes anymore…
The worst part is the insurance rate hikes will bite worst then Ike’s bites, as they will last longer and hit everyone worst than ike’s bite! :punch:
Self insurance may be on the table for next year. Yikes!
Let’s pray they don’t get their way
Cheers!
