A guy over at the "other boards" has these on his car. I am really digging them. Any experience? I am thinking of getting the 713's instead of his 710's. They are the second wheel. I got a quote from the guy and they are quite a bit less expensive than a set of 20" Breyton's I was thinking about. I even like the silver on the MGM. The 713's are the second picture.

I am really liking how curved the 713's are...

I like the wheels, especially the ones on the BMW. I just havent heard of them. Thats not saying much though as the wheel market is so whored out that there is no way you can keep track of them all.

Here are the 710's again in silver and gunmetal. Apparently they are popular with BMW's as CSL replicas. Honestly, I'm liking the silver more? Both wheels seem to have a lot of curve/depth to them.

I like the 713's more than the 710's....actually a lot more cause of the curve.

25.5 for the 8.5, 27 for the 9.5's.

The 710's have the curve as well, I think it's just the angle. Of course width and offset will affect how much curve too, here's a 10" v710 with probably a pretty small offset.

IF I remember correctly, the VMR wheels are a slightly heavier knock off of the Breyton wheels, produced without the full compliment of safety certifications. Should still be a good wheel, seeing as how a lot of people would prefer the lack of a TUV certificate. The weights are a little high, but a nice looking wheel none the less

The 713's and 710's have an ideal offset for the rear which would make them a good choice if you want the tire "tucked" under

I've had a set of VMR VB3's (18") on order for a month and they should be shipping at the end of the week. Putting the gunmetal on my white hot. Should look great especially with the red calipers on my car. Will post pics after all if finally done.

Same here. Waiting for my 19" matte black VB3's to get shipped hopefully this week. Now I gotta black out the chrome on my PBM...

I have two vb3s on backorder... very nice.

They are not breyton knock offs... they are for the most part replicas of stock BMW and Audi wheels...

really good guys to deal with too, as long as you do not try to get in touch with them via email... that takes forever.

So what do you guys think. I can't decide on which wheels to get.

My wife says the Breytons in Gray are too much Gray, given my car is MGM. I would want those in 20" variety, staggered.

Or these VMR's in silver, 19" variety, staggered. If the VMR's were 20", it would be a no brainer for me. I'm just thinking I might regret not stepping up to the 20" from a visual standpoint of not wanting to lower the car.

I will not be dropping the car.

Opinions?

I'll be watching this thread for pics. BTW, I like the 713s too...wondering what they would look like on my Panther Black. I wish they came in gunmetal...keep us updated!

This brand of wheel is popular with the VduB croud. On another forum they would sometimes offer group specials and stuff. I never heard of any complaints from the guys on the GTi forum either. I'm thinking of picking up a set of the 710's myself.

I've had my 18" VB3's on for about two weeks now and I'm really liking them. And they, along with new tires, have resolved the steering wheel shimmy issue.

I'am seriously considering the v710's in matte black.

VMR may direct you to another dealer (EAS) who typically rep their matte black wheels since they are popular in the bimr community. I bought my VB3 matte black from EAS.

I got mine through Acute Performance (www.acuteperformance.com). Talk with Mike there.

Do you think the V708s will fit a G8? The two sizes I'm looking at are both 19x8.5; one is a +38mm offset while the other is +48mm.

They very much remind me of the 2003 SVT Cobra 10th Anniversary wheels, which are some of my favorite wheels to come on a car ever.

I talked with VMR today, since I'm looking at the V710 and V713 in either the hyper silver or gunmetal finish.

EAS has exclusivity on the gunmetal finish for the V710 wheel, and come powder coated from the factory for EAS. Other vendors may be able to get them, but they would be buying from EAS and then selling to you, or sending them out to get powder coated. This may be true of the black as well, but I wasn't looking for black, so I didn't ask.

The V713 only comes in hyper silver, but EAS and PYSpeed both said they can powder coat them for additional money. The quoted drastically different prices. One is $150 for all 4 wheels, another is $130/wheel, and VMR is $80/wheel. The other issue I think I have with this is you aren't exactly sure what the final shade will be since it most likely won't be the same as the factory powder coat and pictures on their website.

I like the V713, but I'm not sure how the fewer and thinner spokes will look on the G8.

They look nice! I just bought V713 19x8.5 45 offset in silver. They're installed and fit perfect. I don't have a camera so it may be a week before I put any pics up though, so you'll just have to wait! (they look alot like the Bimmer on VMR's website). It's really nice not having my back tires rub on bumps like my Breyton's did with a 30 offset. It's also nice because there are fewer spokes to wash!

Dang it! Just when I think I've got my mind made up......

No camera phone?

Yeah, I've thought about the extra spokes for cleaning. The stock 5 spokes are a breeze to clean.

No camera phone! I'm the last person in the U.S. with no cell. I hate phones! The only one I have is at the house.

Alright, I guess if you aren't going to take any pictures for me, I will just have to see how they look for myself....installed on my car!
