Any help is more than welcome.....

Have an '09 G8 and started to hear a "chirping sound" coming from the engine at startup from the belts. Goes away after a few minutes, but started to get progressively worse over a month or two. Took it into the dealer who replaced pulley and belts from Pontiac TSB. Chirp went away but now 1000 miles later it is starting to creep back. Not terribly noticeable, but terribly annoying.

I have seen a thread on G8board where a goodyear 'gatorback' belt is the supposed solution???

I'd say let 'em have a go at it again.

The Goodyear belts do stop the issue, but I am surprised that the new belts from the dealer still have the issue.

Seems odd that a different brand belt stops the issue. It'd be nice to know what causes it though. I have no noise at all but I am also running a UDP but with a Dayco belt.

Dayco and Goodyear have angle cuts in the belt that eliminate noise.

Return to the dealer or buy Goodyear belts and be done with it.

Funny thing is my Duramax did the same thing when I started it warm with the AC on . I bought the Gatorback belt and it quit.
