I just bought a set of lightweight aluminum lugnuts for my wheels. They are so light its scary. I put all twenty on a digital scale and they would not register.

Does anyone have any experience with aluminum lugs?

I mean are they safe?

Hmmmm. What wheels are you using them on? I wouldnt use them on the factory wheels. What brand are they?

I have seen a lot of issues with generic/cheap aluminum lugnuts. I just wouldnt want to see you get hurt. If your asking me, get some quality ones from McGard or Gorilla so you dont have to worry about it.

Myself, I wouldn't bother, what would I save 1 pound?

I bought them because of the color. I wanted black and these were the only ones I could find.

I believe the 2 I listed offer black as well.
