Front Badge Enhancement

Not sure if anyone's done this yet or not. If they have, then you can delete this thread. A couple of weeks ago I removed the red reflector from my front badge so all that's left is a dart "frame". This project only took about 20 mins. to do and it didn't cost anything. Just a simple mod that I think improved the appearance of the front of my car.

Depends on what you're talking about. The emblem itself has the 2 sided tape underneath along with the 3 prongs. You have to pry the emblem using a screw driver wrapped in a cloth so as to not damage your paint. Once you remove the emblem, you have to drill 3 holes in the corners of the reflector. You will not salvage the red reflector because it is glued to the emblem. Once you've drilled the holes, you take a box cutter and pry up on the red reflector. You have to break the reflector to remove it completely. Once it's removed, then you use the box cutter and cut out the remaining plastic so all you have left is the "frame".

I agree, when I saw them I really wanted them but the price is to high for what they are I think

De-badged mine except the front emblem due to the holes behind it. This looks like a pretty good compromise - think I'll give it a try.

The trunk arrowhead is just held on with tape so if you want you can just take it off completely and have no holes in it's place
