View Full Version : Wife got a "Check Engine"

Imagine that only 5500 miles on the car and the wife gets a "Check Engine" on the center of the dash. It turned out to be the relay that bleeds the pressure from the gas tank for emmissions was hanging up and working slow. However it only took a simple reset to clear. The shop said that this is common thing with GM cars. So look for this in the future.

And that is the reset we can do in Engineering mode? Can we do a reset in engineering mode?

No. It can be done with a scan tool. The DashHawk will reset most codes, but there are some that it wont, like rear O2s when you install headers.

i've had mine since last april and and i might hit 12k next week lol
