So, is there a certain way to get the valve oil seals off? Got the springs off, just cant seem to get the oil seals off.

Thanks!

You can use a valve seal puller to remove them.

Just a normal pair of pliers will do the trick.

HOLY CRAP...i cant, for the life of me, get these oil seals that livernois sent me to fit....i think i damaged two of them in the process

is it a bad idea to re-use the stock seals? they seem to be in good shape..my car only has 8000 miles on it

You need to change them to put the spring seats they supplied you with on.

damn...do they need to be pressed on or is there some way i can get them on without a press?

The last set I installed (Patriots, not Livernois), I used a socket to tap them down. On these, they didn't sit flush with the top of the head like the stockers did. Not sure about the Livernois ones.

I'd bet you could pick some up locally for a decent price.

ohhhh, thats a great idea...didnt think about the socket...hope it works for me. I'll definitely need a couple new oil seals. hopefully livernois can overnight me a few

Thank you SO much!!!

just a gentle tap with a mallet/socket ususlly enough to fully seat them...just make sure they are FULLY seated.

Yeah, Todd is correct. No need to hit them hard. You will feel them bottom out and know that all is good.
