V And 6.0 Badges On Back

Something different I'm thinking of. i have the V8 6.0 liter badegs on the side where those cubes were. i have the V badge and I'm thinking of using a GTO 6.0 badge on the other side. The picture is just a cut and paste job to see what you guys thought. I blacked out the G8 and GT badges and put in the others.

i have the v8 6.0 badge on the lower right corner of the trunk lid, and i still have the GT G8 sans pontiac lettering. im thinking of just leaving the arrowhead and the v8 badge though

4GASEM is correct, I just cut and pasted them on there to get an idea. Still waiting on the 6.0 badge. Should be here this week. MJF232, gotta love ya Eagles fans, not :) I even got the two tone leather interior that is the same color as the Bucs red. But yeah, I think I'm going to put them where I show them. May change last minute, but I think they look good there.

I have the V badge exactly where you were looking to put yours.

I went with the holden factory stock location for the holden 6.0 badges, replacing the GM chicklet squares on the front fenders.

I don't really care for the GTO 6.0 badge look and feel... however it may be interesting to stick one of the holden ones in the position that you photochopped? Hmmmm

Yeah, I thought of the V8 6.0 liter badge in back to. If I don't like the 6.0 when I get it in my hand, I may go get another one and put it there. I thought it may be too many V's on back though.

Got the Holden V8/6.0 LITER badges in the mail today (Thanks again, Paul) and VFlag on it's way, and GTO 6.0 badge arriving tomorrow. I will ultimately make the final call when I see it in person, but I like the simplicity of the GTO 6.0 for the rear quite a bit... in theory.

Sweet. Let me know what you think. I'll be changing my 6.0 to chrome. The GTO's are a satin finish. I like more of the American look than copying the Holden. I think the V badge with the 6.0 does that.

In response, I myself don't weld, I'm not a fan of the SS badges and I photoshop if needed to get an idea across before implementing that idea. Everyone here has their own style weather that be stock, a Holden copy or something in between. Enjoy the differences instead of blowing things up; life will be much more enjoyable.

I don't like the 6.0 GTO badge, unless you remove all the G8 lettering it's not the same style and doesn't match. I put a V8 badge on the right lower part of the trunk and I think it looks good with the G8 lettering. Everyone that sees it thought it came from the factory like that.

Im always up for anything unique and putting the 6.0 GTO badge is somewhat unique as you wont see much ppl doing it. So i like it, look good to me. Dammit, i need to get me a G8 soon lol

Monty and RacerxG8; They both look good. I ended up chroming the GTO's 6.0 emblem with chrome spray paint. They actually came out pretty good. Only the pickiest can tell they aren't true chrrome. People see G8 emblems, but most don't know what it means. Slamming a 6.0 badge on back lets them know if they want to try it.

Looks good OmahaGTP. I ended up putting the 6.0 on the opposite side only because the color of the V-badge didn't look right when next to the Bucs tag.

I have the Vflag in the same place and the V8 badges in the same place, I an looking to put GT where you have the gto 6.0. I figure v8 6.0 liter on the sides is enough warning.

I've thought of doing that myself G8Joe. I actually have an extra set of of the G8 and GT badges in case I change my mind. I like having people that come up from behind to know what's in it. Most can't read the V8/6.0 on the sides.

I don't have a part number but it's on the 05,06,07,08 Grand Prix GXP.

When did Pontiac start building cars in Australia? This is a GM/Holden with a couple Pontiac badges slapped on it.
Since it is an import, I'm honoring Holden on this one. If I could afford the front end, it would be on my uhhhhh Pontiac as well. :)
