The only difference between the V6 and V8 Rad Cover is the circular port for the radiator cap.

Guys with an Over the Radiator Intake prefer the V6 cover on their V8 because fitment of an OTR requires the radiator to be laid back at the top.
When the radiator is laid back the position of the radiator cap moves closer to the engine, the cap is no longer accessible through the circular port in a V8 rad cover. For looks alone the V6 Radiator Cover is then the preferred option.

Some extra trimming of the V6 Rad cover is required by the owner.

When a Holden V6 Radiator Cover is fitted on a V8 with an OTR and tilted radiator, the radiator cap is still accessible from the rear of the new Rad Cover.

Need to reload the "Bonkers Sale" with some new sale items, Paul! I've already ordered the rad cover. How about a sale on some 6.0 Litre badges?

Doesn't really matter, though. Your customer service is so good I'll probably be a regular customer at any price.

Your V8 Rad cover was sent out late Friday afternoon by USPS, from just across the other side of one of those lakes.
:)

There's no benefit in bulk shipping a heap of badges and then distributing them from USA.....except maybe a reduction in waiting time. Freight cost on those is very minimal from here.

The Bonkers Sale was always aboot passing on some freight savings (from a bulk shipment) to the general G8 community like yourself.

Quick ?.. Will the V6 cover still fit even is the radiator isnt set back... I not sure what type of intake I want yet but I like the cleaner look of the V6 Cover.. I dont mind if I dont have access to the coolant.. I can handle taking off 6 push pins...

Yes.
The only difference between the V6 and V8 rad covers is the access port for the radiator cap.
