So, i'm kinda stuck on the intake manifold removal due to not having gm's gay little tools
Is there any way to disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuelrails or will i need that stupid tool?
thanks

That stupid tool should be available in AutoZone, Pep Boys, O'Reilly's, etc.
Look for the black plastic one - it is *slightly* deeper than the chrome one.
And, yes, that is the tool you need.

Just to be sure, I checked 'All Data' - the tool looks like the commonly available one.

Correct. Its the same one Ford used for years on their fuel filters.

Charlie, does it help to grease up the tool prior to insertion (I never thought I'd actually get to use that...)?

For a couple of bux you can own the whole set of GM's Gay little tools.
They're pretty handy to have around. I've used the gay GM tools on GM's Ford fuel lines since the early nineties, and on GM's 1999 Dodge pickup with the 5.9 Magnum and even the oil lines on GM's 2000 Harley Softail.

As you see, they don't look exactly like the one GM sells, so TT C6 could never recommend them.... :secret:
